My husband recently retired from policing and luckily I have been granted a years sabbatical from my job as a Deputy Headteacher in a busy primary school, this has enabled us to realise a long held dream of travelling the world.
After much discussion, reading the books, studying the maps, we have settled on a loose itinerary. We plan to leave the UK in September and fly to south-east Asia. Our first stop is in Bangkok.
We are later planning to visit Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore, and then on to Australia, New Zealand and North America before spending 3 months in Europe.
